The "Xinjiang is a Wonderful Land" intangible cultural heritage exhibition opened on Thursday in Korla, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the local government, the event brought together over 300 projects and more than 400 representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage.

Now in its fourth year, the exhibition is hosted at the Korla Exhibition Center, which spans 12,000 square meters. The event showcases the achievements of intangible cultural heritage preservation and the collaborative efforts between Xinjiang and other provinces such as Henan, Hebei, Zhejiang, Hunan, and Heilongjiang. The exhibition features various sections, including an intangible cultural heritage market, hands-on activities for visitors, and music and dance performances.

Additional events are held at various museums and scenic locations across the city, creating a rich cultural experience for attendees. This exhibition serves as a platform for showcasing, promoting, and engaging with intangible cultural heritage. It focuses on engaging local youth through educational tours and offers cultural services and products to visitors. The event also aims to deepen cultural exchanges among different ethnic groups and strengthen the sense of unity within the Chinese nation. The exhibition will run until August 26.
