At 9:30 a.m. on April 14th, the opening ceremony of the table tennis competition of the mass events in the 9th Leshan City Games was grandly held in the Sports Park of Jingyan County. Table tennis enthusiasts from all over the city gathered together to kick off this sports event. This competition is not only a concentrated display of the development achievements of mass sports in Leshan City, but also an important opportunity to stimulate the enthusiasm of the general public for participating in sports.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Xie Jianping, the deputy head of Jingyan County Government. The ceremony kicked off with the solemn national anthem. Xie Jun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Jingyan County Party Committee and the head of the Publicity Department, delivered a speech at the ceremony. He extended a warm welcome to all the leaders, guests, and athletes present at the ceremony, emphasized the importance of sports in promoting local development and enhancing people's physical fitness, and wished the table tennis competition a complete success.
Liu Bin, the deputy director of the Leshan City Sports Bureau, delivered a speech. He affirmed the achievements of Leshan City in mass sports work, encouraged the athletes to carry forward the sports spirit, compete with style and reach a high level. At the same time, he hoped that through this event, the development of the national fitness cause in Leshan City could be further promoted.

Subsequently, the athlete representative and the referee representative took the oath respectively. The athlete representative vowed to abide by the competition rules, respect the opponents, and fight tenaciously. The referee representative promised to strictly fulfill the referee duties, ensuring fairness, impartiality, and openness, and escorting the smooth progress of the competition.

Finally, Chen Jianbo, the secretary of the Jingyan County Party Committee and the head of the county, announced the official start of the table tennis competition of the mass events in the 9th Leshan City Games. Warm applause and cheers rang out at the scene, marking the official start of this highly anticipated sports event.

This table tennis competition attracted 39 teams, more than 350 athletes, and referees from all over the city to gather in the Orange Town. They will show their skills on the field, make friends through the sport, and enjoy the happiness brought by sports. The holding of this event not only provides a platform for table tennis enthusiasts to show themselves, but also further enriches the sports and cultural life of the people in Leshan City, and promotes the national fitness cause to a new height.
