On April 25th, in order to deeply promote the work of Panzhihua as a national pilot city for building a strong intellectual property city and to promote the geographical indication products of Yanbian County and the regional public brand of "Taste of Yanbian", the 2025 National Intellectual Property Publicity Week Activity in Panzhihua City was officially launched in the JD (Yanbian) Rural Revitalization Demonstration Park.

With the theme of "Geographical Indications Boosting Rural Revitalization, Intellectual Property Empowering Industrial Development", this activity demonstrated the core role of intellectual property in regional economic development through various forms. At the beginning of the activity, the promotional video of Panzhihua as a national pilot city for building a strong intellectual property city had its stunning premiere. With vivid pictures, it presented the city's intellectual property strategic layout and development achievements in a panoramic way, showing Panzhihua's firm determination to drive innovation and empower industries with intellectual property.

The relevant person in charge of the Market Supervision Administration of Yanbian County introduced in detail the development of the work related to geographical indications. Relying on its unique natural conditions, Yanbian has deeply tapped the value of its characteristic agricultural products. Through the certification of geographical indications and the construction of regional public brands, it has promoted the standardized production and branded operation of characteristic industries such as mangoes and mulberries, effectively increasing the added value and market competitiveness of the products and injecting strong impetus into rural revitalization.

The person in charge of Panxiang Food Co., Ltd. in Yanbian County delivered a speech as an enterprise representative. She shared the practical experience of the enterprise achieving rapid development by leveraging geographical indications and the brand of "Taste of Yanbian". She emphasized the crucial role of intellectual property protection and brand building in helping the enterprise expand the market and improve its efficiency, and called on more enterprises to attach importance to the layout of intellectual property and jointly promote the high-quality development of the industry.

After the launching ceremony, the exhibition tour and on-site intellectual property publicity activities were carried out in an orderly manner. The exhibition area centrally displayed the geographical indication products of Yanbian County. The staff carried out popular science publicity on identifying counterfeits through methods such as physical comparisons and case explanations, to enhance the public's awareness and participation in intellectual property protection. At the same time, consultation desks were set up at the event site to provide services such as the interpretation of intellectual property policies and legal consultations for enterprises and the public.

The launch of this Publicity Week activity not only marks the beginning of a new chapter in the protection and application of intellectual property in Panzhihua City, but also builds an important platform for promoting the deep integration of the geographical indication industry and the regional economy and assisting in the comprehensive revitalization of the countryside.
