At 10:00 a.m. on April 25th, the Yanbiandong Toll Station of the Ningnan-Panzhihua Expressway on the G4216 line officially opened for operation, marking a crucial step for Yanbian County in integrating into the regional expressway network system and injecting surging momentum into the high-quality development of the county.

The Yanbiandong Toll Station is designed with 9 import and export lanes. As one of the key node projects after the full-line opening of the Ningnan-Panzhihua Expressway, after its completion and operation, it will further enhance the traffic capacity and service level of the Ningnan-Panzhihua Expressway and unblock the regional traffic arteries.

It is reported that this toll station not only realizes efficient interconnection with areas such as the county seat, Hongge Town, and the Vanadium-Titanium Industrial Development Zone in Yanbian County, but also connects with the S218 Yanbian Expressway and the G5 Beijing-Kunming Expressway, forming a traffic pattern of "connecting north and south, reaching east and west". Heading north, it can accelerate the connection to the Chengdu-Chongqing city cluster, and heading south, it can be integrated into the Grand Shangri-La Tourism Loop, injecting strong impetus into the cultural and tourism economy.

In the next step, Yanbian County will continue to focus on improving infrastructure construction, accelerate its integration into national, provincial and municipal traffic trunk lines, continuously enhance its level of opening up to the outside world, and help achieve the goal of building a demonstration zone for common prosperity through high-quality development.
