Recently, Xin Chang Township has successfully solved the problem of unsold white lotus by relying on the local high mountain ecological advantages and a series of "combinations" such as "online diversion + offline breakthrough + market innovation", which not only guaranteed the interests of farmers, but also injected confidence into the development of local agricultural industry.

This year, due to market volatility, nearly 900 tons of Chinese cabbage from Yangziyan Village, Xingxing Village, and Panggou Village in Xin Chang Township faced difficulties in selling. Upon hearing the news, the Party Committee and government of Xin Chang Township swiftly took action, mobilizing all staff members to act as 'agricultural promoters' and launched a 'mobile agricultural promotion campaign.' They also collaborated with multiple departments at the city and county levels to conduct extensive publicity, actively promoting to large supermarkets, government canteens, and wholesalers, continuously expanding the sales channels for Chinese cabbage.

To further leverage the advantages of resource integration and market-oriented operations, Xinchang Township has partnered with the Xinchang Township Shareholding Economic Cooperative Union to introduce an innovative 'pick-and-sell + group buying and delivery' model. They have also utilized online live streaming and new media promotion to significantly boost orders and secure multiple bulk purchase agreements. By following a well-organized production and sales chain of 'mature one batch, sell one batch,' they managed to sell all unsold Chinese cabbage within just a few weeks.

"Although the price of white lotus is not as high as in previous years, with the help of the township and village, our vegetable sales are guaranteed, and we can arrange the planting of the next season at ease," said Luo Kaijun, a villager from Yangzayan Village in Xinchang Township, looking happily at the empty vegetable field.

Taking this breakthrough in addressing the issue of unsold goods as an opportunity, Xin Chang Township will continue to explore new models of rural collective economy development. It will improve the support system for strengthening agriculture, benefiting farmers, and enriching rural areas, strengthen the 'Strong Village Company,' and promote the transformation of the agricultural industry from emergency sales assistance to routine operations, thereby injecting new vitality into rural revitalization.
