On July 4, the 'Romantic Qianwei · Summer Carnival —— 8th Lotus Cultural Tourism Season,' organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Qianwei County Committee and the Culture, Radio, Television, Sports, and Tourism Bureau of Qianwei County, and hosted by the Shoubao Town Government, opened grandly in Dengba Village, Shoubao Town, Qianwei County. This event, themed around 'lotus,' offered visitors a summer festival that combined natural beauty, cultural experiences, and fun activities.

The Lotus Cultural Tourism Season is rich in content, featuring six major activities: the Lotus Rhythm Stage, the Lotus Fragrance Market, the Lotus Elegance Experience, the Riverside Competition, the Lotus Beauty Nature, and the 'Lotus Shadow Time' Evening. These activities blend a variety of formats, including group performances, rural markets, educational tours for families, and fun competitions. On the Lotus Rhythm Stage, 21 programs from various villages, communities, and neighboring towns are performed in sequence, offering a captivating performance of rural songs and dances that highlight the unique charm of Lotus Rhythm culture.

That evening, the 'Lotus Shadow Time' evening gala was held at the square in front of Qianwei Station on the Chengdu-Guiyang high-speed railway. The gala, themed 'Lotus Beauty for Longevity, All the Way to Jian,' featured a variety of activities including cultural performances, commendation events, blessings from local virtuous figures, signing ceremonies, and lottery draws. In his speech, Li Peng, the deputy secretary of the county party committee, noted that in recent years, Qianwei County has closely aligned with the provincial and municipal goals of developing a sub-center city. The county has been committed to revitalizing the county through cultural and tourism initiatives, carefully organizing a series of events that have significantly boosted tourism revenue and visitor numbers, as well as markedly improved the overall efficiency of tourism. Looking ahead, Qianwei will fully implement the relevant policies and the plenary session's directives, actively promoting the integration of culture and tourism.

The evening gala kicked off with the grand performance of 'China Dragon,' followed by a heartfelt rendition of 'Blessing the Motherland' by local singer Liu Jiamin. The 'Weaving of Time and Space: Intangible Cultural Heritage Show' blended traditional intangible cultural heritage with modern art, while the situational drama 'Fruit Kingdom 2' conveyed a positive spirit. The video of blessings from hometown virtuosos expressed their affection and good wishes for their hometowns. The signing of cooperation agreements between government and enterprises, as well as schools and local communities, injected new momentum into the development of Shoubao Town. The medley of songs performed by singer Jia Haihua brought the atmosphere to a climax.
