In the scorching summer heat, the unbearable swelter has become a daily reality. To safeguard the health of frontline outdoor workers battling extreme temperatures and convey the care of trade union organizations, on July 18th, the Green Heart Subdistrict Trade Union Association launched the "Summer Cooling Initiative: Trade Unions with You" event at the "Gongxiaojia" Warm Heart Station in southern Leshan. The initiative provided free medical checkups and health screenings for sanitation workers, food delivery riders, ride-hailing drivers, urban management personnel, residential security staff, and gas station workers within the district, while also distributing cooling supplies to support these outdoor laborers and emerging employment groups.

A refreshing breeze dispels the summer heat, while heartfelt care warms hearts. Medical staff from Datian Community Health Service Station arrived early at the mobile clinic, setting up free health screening stations and diagnostic equipment to provide thorough checkups for outdoor workers and passersby seeking medical assistance. During the screenings, healthcare professionals patiently inquired about each worker's health status, carefully reviewed their medical histories, answered relevant questions, and offered tailored treatment plans and health management strategies based on examination results. Additionally, they provided free blood pressure, blood sugar, and hepatitis B antibody tests. Using informative brochures, the team explained prevention and treatment methods for common chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes, and coronary heart disease, encouraging everyone to embrace healthy lifestyles and maintain good habits.

Finally, Huang Wei, Chairman of the Green Heart Subdistrict Trade Union Federation, expressed gratitude and admiration to outdoor workers who persistently hold their posts and work diligently in the scorching summer heat, presenting them with refreshing summer comfort items.
