On October 20, the finals and closing ceremony of the 3rd Harmonious and Beautiful Village "China Telecom Beautiful Home Cup" Village Basketball Association (Cun BA) were held in Emeishan City, Sichuan Province. The Quanyu Warriors Team defeated the You'ai Vanguard Team 34-24 to claim the championship.

At 4:30 p.m., the invitational match kicked off first. The China Railway 24th Bureau Group Team and the Mainstream Health Preservation Team engaged in a fierce battle, warming up the audience for the evening finals. At 7:00 p.m., the finals officially started. Though light rain began to fall, the enthusiasm of the on-site audience remained undiminished. On the court, players sprinted with all their might, passed the ball skillfully, and shot accurately. Every offense and defense was thrilling. In the end, the Quanyu Warriors Team secured the victory with a better performance.

Xiang Shunfeng, a player from the Quanyu Warriors Team, said excitedly, "I'm very happy to win the first place with my teammates. This makes up for last year's regret. Winning the championship was within our expectations—we have confidence, and our goal next year is to defend the title in the Village Basketball Association!"

Around the court, cheers from the audience rose one after another, demonstrating the local people's great enthusiasm for basketball. Wu Xian, a villager from Guihuaqiao Town, said, "I come to watch every game of the event. This activity is well-organized—it enlivens the atmosphere and strengthens unity among everyone."

In addition to the intense basketball games, the event also incorporated strong local cultural characteristics. During the halftime break, performances such as Guihua Golden Dragon (dragon dance) and Wuyun Emei (martial arts performance) took turns on stage, adding a rich cultural flavor to the intense competition of the Village Basketball Association.

According to reports, a total of 50 games were held in this tournament of the Village Basketball Association within 20 days. In addition to the champion, runner-up, and third-place awards for the competitive and invitational matches, a number of special awards were also presented, including the Fair Play Award, Most Popular Award, and Outstanding Organization Award. The prizes were particularly distinctive of rural areas: the champion team won a big fat pig, while the runner-up, third-place, and other teams received agricultural products such as goats and ecological ducks, fully demonstrating the unique charm of rural tournaments under the Village Basketball Association.

This basketball event, participated in by ordinary people and celebrated by all, showcases the spirit of unity and progress of Guihuaqiao Town and injects new vitality into rural cultural construction. In the future, Guihuaqiao Town will continue to uphold the concept of "Every Guest is a Valued Guest, and Guests to Guihua are Honorable."
