​ “Small Juice”Creates “Big Value”: “Citrus Resources”Drive High Added Value

Danling in October is filled with the fresh aroma of citrus. On October 23, inside the workshop of Sichuan Chuyue Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. located in the Danling Food and Biological Manufacturing Park, over 60 workers were operating in an orderly and intense manner. From filling, capping to packaging, each link was closely connected, forming an efficiently operating production chain.

Through the glass windows of the visiting corridor, one could see that the automatic filling equipment was running in a closed environment. After processes such as blending, sterilization, filling and transportation, the juice was finally bottled and sent to major supermarkets across China. Chen Jun, General Manager of Sichuan Chuyue Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., said, "At present, our company has put 5 production lines into operation, including two glass bottle lines, two can lines and one Tetra Pak line. The daily production capacity is approximately 400 tons, with over 60 employees. We have cooperated with well-known domestic brands such as Neimenggu Dayao, Hebei Chuyuan and Guangdong Pukou."

It is understood that the modern workshop of Sichuan Chuyue Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. covers a total area of 12,500 square meters. While continuing to focus on production, the company adheres to innovation-driven development. Relying on Danling’s high-quality local citrus resources such as "Shiranui" and "Eiyuan", it has carried out industry-university-research cooperation with scientific research institutions including the West China Medical Center of Sichuan University and Sichuan Tourism University to jointly develop new citrus beverages and successfully create the unique "Danyaxiang" brand.

Chen Jun, General Manager of Sichuan Chuyue Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., stated, "The estimated output value this year is 50 million yuan. Next year, we will launch 7 production lines, including the most advanced aseptic cold filling production lines in China currently. The estimated output value will reach around 300 million yuan. Leveraging Danling’s advantage as a citrus producing area, our company will build the 'Danyaxiang' brand and develop a series of citrus products such as Chunjian (known locally as 'Papagan'), Shiranui and Eiyuan. At present, our market share in China’s beverage industry remains among the top. In the next step, we plan to sell our products overseas."

The vigorous development of Sichuan Chuyue Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. is a vivid example and typical achievement under Danling County’s industrial transformation and upgrading strategy.
