On the evening of November 22, Dongfeng New City Square in Ebian's urban area was aglow with lights and bustling with crowds as the 2025 Ganmo A' niu Global Cultural Tourism Promotion Plan and Yi New Year Gala took place. Through three chapters— "The Legacy of Starlight,"  "A Ganmo A 'niu in Every Heart," and "The Goddess of Beauty's Global Resonance" —the gala vividly showcased how the Yi and Han communities in Ebian have preserved, promoted, and elevated the enduring spirit of Ganmo A'niu, the goddess of beauty. It offered a cultural and tourism extravaganza that blended ethnic traditions with modern creativity.

To foster cross-ethnic interaction and cultural integration while advancing high-quality tourism development, Ebian County has launched the "2025 Ganmo A'niu Global Tourism Ambassador Discovery Program" targeting influencers, content creators, and cultural experts worldwide. This initiative serves as a bridge connecting Ebian with global audiences. Since its inception, the program has attracted hundreds of enthusiastic applicants nationwide, with 20 finalists emerging as the ultimate champions.

The grand finale showcased the dynamic spirit of emerging cultural and tourism talents through multidimensional competitions. Contestants presented two themed fashion shows— "Time Travel Through Yi Embroidery Patterns" and "Contemporary Dialogue with Intangible Cultural Heritage Artifacts" —where exquisite Yi ethnic costumes radiated the brilliance of intangible cultural heritage. The talent showcase segment featured a dazzling array of performances, including songs, dances, and recitations, vividly demonstrating the diverse charm and open-mindedness of modern Ebian.

The gala was a vibrant audiovisual celebration of the Yi Lunar New Year. Distinguished guests including Shen Xuefeng·Shuoguo, a celebrated Yi ethnic rap artist, and Jihu, a renowned Yi singer-songwriter, performed a series of classic works. The county cultural center also presented local Yi folk songs, creating a harmonious symphony of the new year. The interactive lottery segments interspersed throughout the event repeatedly heightened the atmosphere to its peak.

The most beautiful "Ganmo Aniu" and the most handsome "Muxia"

Through a comprehensive online-offline evaluation, Zhou Zhiru was crowned the most beautiful "Ganmo Aniu" (a traditional Yi ethnic girl), while Abimu Xia was named the most handsome "Muxia". Zhou Zhiru also claimed the top spot in the Talent Group, and Yang Chang took the crown in the Rookie Group. Meanwhile, outstanding proposals like Liu Zhenqi's "Cloudy Yi Homeland, Free Ebian", Zan Yingying's "The Beauty Goddess's Hometown: More Than One Side", and Heilaiyifu's "Black Bamboo Gully Adventure" were awarded the Top Ten "Golden Ideas" Excellence in Creativity Award, showcasing Ebian's cultural tourism potential from multiple perspectives.

The event concluded with a spirited chorus of "All Here Are Ebian People" performed by all participants and the audience. This competition served not only as a talent selection and cultural celebration, but also as a successful cultural promotion, marking another solid step forward for Ebian in its integrated cultural and tourism development.
